That feeling of epic battles between good and evil, the awesome character designs… it’s stuck with a lot of us. But finding really good collectibles, that aren't crazy expensive, can be a pain. That’s where Motu Collectibles comes in. We’re not trying to replace the existing market. We're adding to it! We focus on delivering figures that capture the spirit of the original 80s toyline, but with some tweaks to make them even more appealing to today’s collectors. Think better articulation, improved paint applications, and designs that are faithful to the source material but with a modern sensibility. What Makes Our Figures Different? We’ve heard the complaints from collectors – wobbly figures, paint that chips easily, limited poseability. We've taken all that to heart. Here's what we're doing differently: Durability: We use high-quality plastics that can stand up to play and display. These aren’t going to fall apart after a few poses. Articulation: We’re packing in a lot of points of articulation – meaning you can pose your figures in dynamic, action-packed positions. We are initially focusing on around 20-25 points of articulation per figure. This allows for more dramatic scenes and storytelling. Paint Applications: We’re using detailed paint applications to bring the characters to life. We’re talking vibrant colors, accurate details, and a premium finish. We have a dedicated paint specialist who is an absolute stickler for quality. Accessories: Every figure comes with at least one signature accessory – whether it’s He-Man’s Power Sword, Skeletor’s Havoc Staff, or Man-At-Arms’ Power Mace. We're also planning on releasing accessory packs in the future for those who want to expand their figures’ arsenals. Affordability: We want everyone to be able to collect! We’re striving to offer our figures at a price point that’s accessible to a wider range of collectors. We're kicking things off with a core group of classic characters: He-Man: The Most Powerful Man in the Universe! Our He-Man figure features a newly sculpted physique, detailed power sword, and a removable harness. He’s ready to defend Eternia! Skeletor: The Evil Lord of Destruction! Our Skeletor figure is sculpted with a menacing expression and comes with his Havoc Staff. We've really focused on getting his skull details just right. Man-At-Arms: Eternia’s Royal Protector! This figure is packed with articulation and includes his signature Power Mace and shield. He's a great addition to any collection. Teela: The Captain of the Royal Guard! Our Teela figure is a powerful and dynamic addition to the line, sculpted with a determined expression and equipped with her shield and sword. Beast Man: Skeletor's loyal henchman. A powerful figure, complete with a newly sculpted head and fur texture. We have a lot more characters planned for release in the coming months, including Battle Cat, Evil-Lyn, Trap Jaw, and many more.
